The Spring/Summer waiver deadline ended 02/03/2025. The online waiver system can no longer accept new waiver requests.

You may request to waive out of the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) if your alternate insurance health plan meets the following requirements:

1. Medical coverage is active.

If your alternate coverage meets the above minimum requirements, submit electronic copies of the following document(s) with your online waiver request:

• An electronic copy of the front and back of your health insurance ID card indicating the student as a covered member.

Continuation coverage is only available for students who are tuition billed for the insurance. International and HSC students and their dependent(s) can purchase three (3) months of additional medical coverage. (Dental is not available.) Continuation must be purchased within thirty (30) days of the current coverage termination date.
